My role at Lincoln involves supplying general practice, medium sized and top tier legal firms with the most proficient legal secretaries and legal executives in the Irish market. This involves building relationships with candidates and clients alike and offering helpful advice in order to assist candidates finding their ideal role and clients finding their dream candidate.

My Advice

The key to a successful recruitment process is to identify exactly what makes each client and each candidate different to the last. Only then will you be able to sell the role right to the candidate and sell the candidate right to the client. Positions are more than job specs and candidates are more than their CV’s so it’s about recognizing that and going beyond this to find out exactly what the candidate or client is looking for.

My Background

I studied a B.A. in Accounting in Finance at D.C.U. and after this completed a M.A. in Accounting at L.Y.I.T. back home in Donegal where I am from. Following my Masters I joined a Big 4 firm to later discover that an accounting career wasn’t for me. I later joined Lincoln Recruitment and found that building relationships with people each day was a great motivator for me personally. Although recruitment has it’s challenges day to day it is undoubtedly a very rewarding career.
