Senior Financial Accountant – Louth – Multinational

€70k – 75k per year

Location: Dundalk, Ireland

Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Salary: c75000 per annum plus package


The Company:

Our client are an expanding multinational based in Dundalk, Co Louth. They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance  team on a perm basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a company with a global footprint. You will play a critical role in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The Role:

This is  a varied role, including the following key areas:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, adhering to strict reporting deadlines.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations in compliance with SOX Controls.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual departmental and company budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure financial reporting and compliance across various jurisdictions in EMEA and APAC
  • Document, monitor, and implement controls across the organization.
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX Controls, and handle tax/VAT audits.
  • Develop or modify reports to meet business line management requirements.
  • Manage the company’s taxation exposure across a number of international countries in conjunction with country fiscal representatives.

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) ideally with some  post qualification experience

  • Experience in a multinational company would be a definite  advantage
