JOB TITLE: Junior Quantity Surveyor

LOCATION: Enfield

We are currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s growing team.

The role involves working across various projects in the Greater Dublin Area, with the office based in Enfield.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the evaluation and interpretation of project contract documentation.
• Supporting the planning and review of supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
• Assisting in providing accurate, competitive, and cost-effective valuations in a timely manner.
• Aiding in the preparation and distribution of contract documents to the supply chain.
• Helping to assess changes in project scope and pricing variations.
• Assisting with preparing and agreeing on monthly progress claims.
• Maintaining accurate records of claims, certificates, and retentions.
• Supporting the commercial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of monthly commercial project reports.
• Providing information and analysis of issues and risks as required by management.
• Managing and forecasting project cash flow.
• Performing other duties associated with the role.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification.
• Strong understanding of contract work.
• Ability to negotiate professionally with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, MS Teams, and MS Projects.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with electrical tenders would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of commercial management within construction is a plus.
• Strong team player.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
