Role

Seeking a commercially rounded finance professional to provide commercial and financial management in a healthcare setting. Your role is to oversee the development and effective commercial management of a growing and expanding division while supporting the management team with their strategic plans for the business

Duties will incorporate;

  • Ensure robust internal controls processes are embedded across payroll, procurement, finance, marketing, operations, quality and risk management within the division
  • Support the preparation and implementation of new business initiatives for the strategic development of the division
  • Be responsible for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing business units and/or service offerings within the division and recommending corrective actions where appropriate.

Knowledge, skills & experience

Duties will incorporate;

  • Ensure robust internal controls processes are embedded across payroll, procurement, finance, marketing, operations, quality and risk management within the division
  • Support the preparation and implementation of new business initiatives for the strategic development of the division
  • Be responsible for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing business units and/or service offerings within the division and recommending corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Provide management decision support to the Head of the Division, and to the Executive as appropriate.
  • Report performance for both internal and external communication incorporating productivity analysis and KPI reporting
  • The ideal person will be a qualified accounting professional but strong post qualification experience favorably within a healthcare environment but not essential.

  • Demonstrate evidence of effective planning, organising and time management skills.
  • Financial management abilities to include Finance, Marketing, commercial awareness.
  • Ability to be dynamic and adapt to change quickly.
  • Identify gaps in the market for healthcare and explore opportunities for research and education.
  • Ability to apply robust project management techniques.
  • Proven leadership and management ability.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team and to lead out on key projects.
  • Self-directed, motivated and an innovative approach to work.
  • Effective communication skills including the ability to present information in a clear and precise manner.
  • Have experience in change management.
  • Must possess good decision making ability, and a capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Excellent organisation skills
