Transfer Agent Senior Associate

due to continued growth, my client is looking to hire a TA Associate to join their leading team.

Overview

The Transfer Agent will be involved in processing investor transactions, providing reporting and communicating with investors directly. The successful candidate will work as part of the Transfer Agency team servicing a number of key client relationships.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

Each member of staff has responsibility to adhere to the Group’s policies and procedures, in particular to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with laid down procedures, to ensure the ongoing mitigation of business risk. In this regard regular training should be agreed with the departmental manager / team leader.

Investor:

  • Administration of queries from investors ensuring that the information provided is accurate and delivered in a professional manner
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all investor reporting
  • Act as initial point of contact to the investor

Operational:

  • Timely and accurate processing of transactions in accordance with internal controls and procedures
  • Ensure all documents are saved / filed in accordance with procedures
  • To ensure deadlines are met, by effective planning and scheduling of their own work
  • To work as part of a team ensuring that all SLA’s are met consistently
  • Provide support for senior members where required

Compliance / Regulation:

  • To ensure all activities are carried out within regulatory guidelines
  • To escalate all breaches / errors immediately upon discovery

Project / Ad hoc duties:

  • To participate in and assist with any projects as required
  • Build good working relationships with other departments

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Working knowledge of the funds industry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivate, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
