Social Care Worker – Agency
Lincoln Healthcare on behalf of our clients have a number of Social Care Roles in the Dublin and the Westmeath areas. This is an agency work opportunity for Social Care Workers with relevant qualifications and 1 year paid experience, up to date training and a good level or written and spoken English.
The work involves support on an individual basis with vulnerable young people and their families within the community. You will be required to work with young people who are at risk within the community. A genuine interest in a rights based approach and previous experience of working with young people and families at risk is required.
Essential Requirements
Degree in Social Care or equivalent
Minimum years paid experience in Social Care
Own Car with with full clean driving licence (mileage paid)
MAPA raining
Manual People Handling
Infection Control
Childrens First
Experience of dealing with challenging behaviours.
Understanding of complex needs of families at risk
Knowledge of child protection issues
Flexibility with regard to working hours

Own transport is essential.
