The Dublin office is their Global Centre of Excellence and as such, this role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with the Group CFO and Group CEO as well as senior global staff across the business and to make a contribution to the continued growth of the business.
As you will be at the centre of global finance, this role will provide all aspects of financial direction to support the Group strategic decisions.
This role will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to use their technical accounting skill set as well as their strategic thinking and business acumen to drive the business forward.
You will be responsible for the preparation of month end management accounts for two significant trading entities as well as analysis and reporting of the P&L movements. You will have full ownership of the balance sheet control and be responsible for all statutory filings. You will have involvement in the Group consolidation process and work on M&A activity as it arises. You will also take the lead in ERP implementations as they affect your entities.
In addition, and as a matter of course, you will gain exposure to a number of projects and if successful in this role, you will be offered the opportunity to move internally.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and will have demonstrable experience in the preparation of month end accounts as well as strong technical accounting knowledge. Experience producing accounts under IFRS/US GAAP or similar would be an advantage.
