My client – a global investment bank is seeking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Accountant – VP to join their Dublin city centre office. In this role you will be responsible for the regulatory reporting requirements, including Pillar 3 disclosures; Resolution Reporting and Basel III monitoring exercises along monthly governance reporting. You will also support on other requirements such as EBA reporting taxonomies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Pillar 3 reporting on a quarterly basis, including the preparation of appropriate internal governance materials.
  • Manage annual resolution reporting and quarterly MREL & TLAC reporting to the regulator.
  • Act as an advisor on regulatory issues to the finance, credit, risk and coverage teams
  • Co-ordinate responses to regulatory queries on Pillar 3, Resolution Reporting and MREL & TLAC.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of financial control is maintained at all times.
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a Regulatory Reporting role for an investment bank desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Capital Requirements Regulation and the Banking Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD).
  • Experience of having prepared and reviewed COREP, Leverage and Asset Encumbrance reporting
  • Qualified accountant or similar e.g. CFA, with PQE in an investment bank a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet tight timelines.
