On behalf of our client in Dublin City Centre, we are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for a 12 month FTC.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Legal with management of compliance, ensuring all regulatory requirements are identified and met and to ensure monitoring is undertaken along with training for process improvement

Duties/Responsibilities
◾ Work with the Head of Legal and the business to ensure that all applicable licensing/regulatory requirements are met
◾ Coordinate engagement with the the Regulatory bodies and work with internal stakeholders and SMEs to provide input for queries raised as part of consultations.
◾ Maintain a Reg Comms Database, including assigning actions to an owner from the business, a response date, and monitoring progress of actions.
◾ Participate in and provide compliance support for projects and initiatives to identify, assess and mitigate regulatory risk in business activities.
◾ Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of a risk-based compliance programme to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
◾ Identify all applicable regulations and ensure procedures are in place to meet those.
◾ Assist the business in ensuring that all staff understands regulatory requirements and that local operating procedures incorporate controls to ensure that the principles of the regulations are adhered to.
◾ Prepare documents and correspondence as required, including reports for regular stakeholder management meetings.
◾ Assist in the development and drafting of Compliance training programs to employees.
◾ Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Experience / Requirements
◾ Previous experience in compliance and regulatory affairs.
◾ Relevant third level degree or equivalent.
◾ Ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
◾ Strong people and presentation skills and ability to prioritise successfully, including the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
◾ Good report writing skills.
◾ Strict attention to detail.
◾ A strong team player with willingness to share knowledge and support other members of the business.
