My client – a leading global financial services organisation is seeking to hire a Project Manager to join their project and programme management team in Dublin city centre. In this role you will manage multiple work streams and resources from within team, as well as across the wider business divisions and technology delivery teams. You will be responsible for building of new business models in conjunction with Senior management and Product to support internal business or external market driven initiatives; re-structuring of existing business; and/or re-engineering initiatives driven by industry changes and internal projects / initiatives.


  • Programme/Project Set Up and Closure: Works with the business to define and agree project structure and benefits and to confirm that outputs and outcomes will support the business objectives.
  • Create, implement, and operate within an appropriate governance framework which aligns to the wider governance framework.
  • Define detailed project delivery plan; drive progress against the project plan; understand, challenge, and proactively manage the cost position; and act to mitigate potential cost or time delays.
  • Identify and secure appropriate resources to work on the project; defines clear roles and responsibilities for all team members including specific responsibility for production of all deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks with an objective of zero defects once business transferred to the live environment; in addition to manage and mitigate the impacts of issues where they arise.
  • Manage and develop a team of staff who are responsible for supporting and facilitating delivery of projects either within the Department or as a collective project team from across the business.
  • Continuously evaluate programmes/projects for financial and people risk and regulatory compliance and takes appropriate steps to mitigate.


  • Bachelor’s degree level education/ professional accountancy qualification – highly desirable
  • Project management qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Prince2) – advantageous
  • Significant Project Management experience, with particular evidence of successful delivery and of being able to manage multiple work streams/projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Investment Accounting and Fund Administration.
  • Experience in business and process analysis and re-engineering
  • Experience of planning and delivery of business change initiatives through complete project life cycle.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills required.

The salary range is €70K – €80K and comes with a solid benefits package.
