Investment Research Manager

One of the world’s leading asset managers has recently located to Dublin and as such a new role has arisen in their investment team.
The Investment Research Manager will be based in Dublin, but the role is a global role and will hold responsibility for ensuring that research for assets with a MiFID footprint is procured under the correct framework both financially and operationally.
You will work with a number of business functions including Investment Management, Legal and Finance across a number of global locations. You will also interact with senior management, the board and regulators and therefore this role will be a highly visible one that will offer excellent development and progression.
Specifically, you will develop, maintain and embed research procurement standards cross the business as well as ensure governance standards are upheld whilst manging relationships with research providers and represent the organisation at research relate events.
You will also train new staff on the research model and lead continuous improvement projects.
Ideally you will hold or be studying towards, a CFA qualification and have experience in comprehensive research and analysis. You will have the ability to deliver change and improvements and be able to work in a global matrix structure.
Experience with Barra, Factset, Aladdin etc. would be advantageous, as would prior experience in MiFID or similarly regulated environments.
