The Dublin office is their Global Centre of Excellence and as such, this role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with the Group CFO and Group CEO as well as senior global staff across the business and to make a contribution to the continued growth of the business.
As you will be at the centre of global finance, you will have responsibility for the audit process for a portfolio of entities across several jurisdictions and will co-ordinate an prepare the audit files and statutory financial statements with local Financial Controllers and Finance Directors. You will act as the main point of contact for the external audit process as well as providing technical assistance to the wider finance teams on a variety of accounting topics.
In addition, and as a matter of course, you will gain exposure to a number of projects whether it be mergers or acquisitions, policy or process implementation or group change.
If successful in this role, you will be offered the opportunity to move internally.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with (ideally) a knowledge of a number of reporting requirements (US GAAP, IFRS, European GAAPS, etc) and will demonstrate prior experience in either an external or internal audit environment (or both), or a genuine desire to move into such a role. Strong technical knowledge is a must.
