The Dublin office is their Global Centre of Excellence and as such, this role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with the Group CFO and Group CEO as well as senior global staff across the business and to make a contribution to the continued growth of the business.
The team is responsible for all aspects of Group tax from advising management of tax implications of strategic business decisions to ensuring compliance deadlines are met around the world.
The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that the company completes its global Indirect Tax compliance responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner whilst also advising Group on Indirect Tax aspects of M&A activity. You will develop processes and procedures for Indirect Tax as well as lead the integration of third-party indirect tax automation software.
In addition, and as a matter of course, you will gain exposure to a number of projects including the Indirect Tax aspects to transactions, internal change programmes, risk etc.
The successful candidate will be a qualified tax professional and ideally would also hold an accounting qualification. Experience in a large practice or corporation would be extremely advantageous as would exposure to a large ERP and experience in tax software.
