Group Accounting Policy and Consolidations Manager

Large, pan-European insurer is looking for an Accounting Policy and Consolidations Manager to join their Group Finance team. The role can be based in Group head office in Dublin or it can be based in their office in London.
You will take the lead in designing the financial reporting consolidations process, working with teams across the Group to develop reports that add high quality and meaningful analysis to the financial statements.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for designing and building the templates for IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 and embed these into the financial reporting and systems for the organisation.
As part of the role, you will provide support for merger and acquisition (M&A) activity.
The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in Group consolidtions within the insurance industry and will also have experience of leading a team through significant change projects regarding quarter / year end processes.
Finally, experience working in a publicly listed company or companies (PLCs) will be an added advantage.
