Graduate Registered Psychiatric Nurses (New Graduate Program 2021)

Lincoln Healthcare is recruiting the above positions on behalf of their client in Dublin North. The Facility is a modern mental health service offering a full range of care and treatment to people experiencing mental health difficulties and mental health illnesses. They provide acute and specialist mental health care across the full age continuum, in their acute Inpatient Unit, Day Hospitals, Home Based Treatment Service, Specialist Rehabilitation Unit and Psychiatry of Later Life services. The Facility has a long-established history of providing care that is values driven and underpinned by person centredness and quality.

Graduate Programme

They are delighted to announce that they are offering graduates the chance to work across a variety of specialisms including acute inpatient services, general adult day hospital, specialist rehabilitation unit and long stay psychiatry of later life services. Graduates will have the opportunity to rotate through a number of different clinical areas in order to consolidate their experience.

This new programme will allow graduates to be supported develop their professional development plan by an in-house mentor and the graduate will receive guidance and support from our practice development and professional development staff. New graduates will be supported develop practice-based skills through our in house educational and practice-based programmes.

In terms or organisational opportunities, it continues its programme of expansion and development with further planned new service developments in 2021 and 2022 in our general adult acute and specialist mental health services. They continue to expand our acute mental health services to meet emerging needs. Over that past 18 months, they have increased our general adulty acute inpatient beds, opened a second day hospital and a Home Based Treatment Service. Further service developments are being worked upon presently including the further expansion of our Specialist Rehabilitation mental health services.
