Compliance Officer, 12 month FTC.
12 month FTC maternity cover based in our Dublin office.
- Supporting the Head of Compliance, Ireland with the implementation of regulatory and compliance risk management and controls
- Providing independent oversight of regulatory and compliance risks and controls as they relate to laws, regulations and regulatory expectations
- Supporting the Head of Compliance, Ireland with the implementation and maintenance of an effective, integrated, proactive and risk-based program for the management of regulatory, compliance and reputational risk
- Ensure best practice compliance performance under all relevant governing laws, regulations, directives, standards and guidelines
- Supporting the Head of Compliance, Ireland with implementing a compliance strategy
– Instilling with the businesses the central role they play as the First Line of Defense, promote strong compliance culture
– Providing value added advice
– Support relevant businesses to meet regulatory requirements, including by identifying, assessing, tracking, where possible influencing and preparing for new developments and ensuring the implementation of Global Compliance priorities
– Maintaining constructive and strong working relationships with all relevant banking, securities and other regulators
– Providing necessary information and effective collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring & Oversight Team supporting an efficient execution of the compliance monitoring programs and oversight activities
The candidate:
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory risk management practices with relevant experience in Financial Services
- Degree educated or equivalent in analytical subjects such as economics, audit, risk management and legal or similar
- Understanding of EU and local regulations.
