Job title: Compliance and Regulatory Risk Advisor / Analyst

Due to growth, I am looking to speak to experienced candidates from a Financial Regulatory background,

Key Responsibilities
 Support the oversight and delivery of timely and accurate European regulatory reporting including EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II, MMFR and UCITS risk reporting.

 Under the supervision of the Head of Compliance and / or Chief Risk Officer, corresponding with regulatory bodies on regulatory reporting and other matters as required.

 Provide support on day-to-day matters relating to the Company’s compliance with relevant regulations and legislation in Europe primarily in Ireland and Luxembourg including investment fund compliance and product governance matters.

 Assist and participate in the delivery and maintenance of the Company’s Risk Framework including the Principal Risk Matrix (Risk Register).

 Assist in the monitoring and assessment of local, European and international regulatory developments to ensure compliance and regulatory risks and obligations are appropriately identified and addressed.

 Advise and monitor regulatory reporting and compliance with relevant policies and procedures by the Company and its delegates and service providers, including the Ashmore Group.

 Collaborate with Group colleagues in relation to relevant projects and initiatives as required.

Education and Knowledge
 Undergraduate degree preferred.

 Up to 5 years’ experience in regulatory reporting, or relevant compliance, risk, legal or other control-related functions in the financial services or legal/consulting firm.

 Experience of some or all of MiFID/ MiFIR, UCITS, AIFMD, EMIR and other regulatory reporting requirements essential.

 Understanding of financial risks (i.e. market, liquidity, counterparty and credit risk) highly desirable.

 Experience providing guidance on the operational implementation of technical regulatory requirements preferred.

 Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
