The Position

The role will be acting as a business partner/FP&A within the Finance & Operations team but with a key interaction with the Client Services team. Client Services manage over 1,000GW of energy assets and this role is key to the continued success of this business. Our client is an expanding company and have ambitious growth plans, affording the successful candidates outstanding long term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of contractual reporting obligations (weekly, monthly, bi-annually, annually) to the client base
  • Prepare, issue and explain daily balancing cost p&l related to the above-mentioned contracts
  • Reconciling all component parts of earned margin to counterparties
  • Manage payables and receivables in conjunction with cash manager
  • Daily review of client collateral positions and notifying them promptly of necessary actions
  • Assist with the linked month end procedures (bank reconciliations, general ledger journals)
  • Gain deep understanding of the Irish electricity market to assist with client and business queries
  • Proactively explore opportunities to improve current processes
  • Contribute to the documenting of detailed operational procedures for all activities and ensure these are maintained and updated promptly
  • Maintaining and developing internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are always delivered to clients
  • Anticipating risks that may adversely affect operations and acting to mitigate these
