My client is a leader in the field of Fire and Security systems and installations. Due to their continued growth despite the current climate, they have a requirement for a business development specialist to join their commercial function, to further drvie growth.

The business development specialist will be responsible for Identifying new business oppurtunities, and maximising the profits from existing accounts. The position will be selling numerous services, with a preominant focus of lines of work within the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems. This an excellent oppurtunity for an individual to develop and progress within a local and national brand.

Reporting to the commercial, You will:

  • Identify new business opportunities along with Account management of key accounts within the M&E Contractors sector predominantly in Munster
  • Review of tender documentation, design and drawings, providing sales and technical support to electrical and M&E Contractors for Fire and security systems.
  • Regularly monitor and analyse opportunities within the construction market and target contractors to work with.
  • Hold regular one on one meetings with my clients, carry out CPD’s on Fire/Security systems and develop relationships.
  • analyse opportunities within the construction market and target contractors to work with.
  • Generate opportunities to grow our business through orders for fire and security products and installations and maintenance.
  • Continously Cross sell company product and service offering, maximising revenue generation potential.


  • 2+ years in sales ideally within the fire and security(cctv,access control etc) space/install/maintenance contractor
  • Proven ability to go above and beyond for a client
  • Engineering or Trade Qualification ideally
