    My client is a leading Residential Building Company and currently recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager. Reporting to our Construction Director, you will be responsible for managing and leading our onsite teams (both employees and sub-contractors) in the construction of multiple high volume housing / apartment projects in Dublin.

    Responsibilities include:

  • Manage, mentor and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors across a number of sites at various stages of development
  • Manage the design team members to ensure best value, buildable solutions whilst managing program expectations from planning stage to completion
  • Manage quality and customer expectations ensuring all works comply with building regulations and other relevant standards
  • In collaboration with other stakeholders, contribute to the creation and development of construction programs
  • Monthly reporting of projects including program, H&S, quality and budget.
  • Ensure strict compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practice
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are maintained and lead continuous improvement on sites
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team and subcontractors while maintaining a professional manner
  • Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
  • Degree/Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
  • Significant construction experience
  • Background in housing developments essential
  • Experienced of managing multiple residential contracts
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Agile and able to adapt behaviour according to the situation at hand
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
